We at MFFL know that navigating the law is sometimes overwhelming. Clients often feel like they are losing themselves in the process. I want our clients to feel like they have been heard, respected and supported, knowing they have someone in their corner who fights the good fights for them, giving them some peace of mind and a chance at a better future.

I started my legal career as an office administrator at Legal Aid Ontario (LAO). I was inspired by the way my bosses helped individuals navigate the legal system with patience, compassion and tenacity.

I have both Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees from McGill University, and completed my law degree at Dalhousie University. I attended Osgoode Hall Law School as a visiting student in my final year of law school, where I volunteered for both CLASP (Community and Legal Aid Service Program) and the Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) Family Law Pilot Project in collaboration with the Family Law Information Centre (FLIC) in Brampton.

I now appear at both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice on a variety of matters, including, but not limited to, parenting, child and spousal support and net family property equalization. I also assist clients in negotiating settlements and in the preparation of various types of domestic contracts, including Cohabitation Agreements and Separation Agreements.
