Sophia Gojamanis, Law Graduate and Legal Assistant, LL.B., LL.M.

I started my legal education at Humber College in Toronto in the Paralegal Education program. After completing my program at Humber College, I went on to study law at Bond University in Australia where I completed my LL.B. with Honours and my LL.M. (Intl. Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution). I have received first in class awards for obtaining the highest overall grade in my family law class during my LL.B., along with the Executive Dean’s Award during my Masters Degree, which is awarded to students with exceptional grades that are well above their peers, by the semesters end.

During law school, my masters, and throughout my time working with Maddalena as a law graduate, I have grown an immense passion for alternative dispute resolution, family law, solving complex problems, and helping to craft creative solutions for our clients.

I like to think of myself as easy-going, compassionate, understanding, and analytical. I pride myself on being open-minded to all and being an avid learner not only in the law but in all aspects of life. My intention is to be able to use the skills I have learned thus far to bring clients creative solutions to their problems backed by research, practical and real life experience, and court-supported precedent.

Currently, I work full-time with Maddalena Fuller Family Law, I am a Be My Eyes volunteer for the visually impaired, and I spend my weekends delivering basic human necessities to the homeless and to women’s shelters along with delivering dog food and other supplies to local kennels and rescues. I pride myself on giving back to my community as a core value of who I am as a person.

In my spare time, I am a proud dog mom to a loving little French Bulldog named Stax who you may frequently find at the office with me, I enjoy hiking, traveling, playing sports, training in the gym, spending time with my loved ones and furthering my education. I have high hopes and dreams to someday be called to the Ontario Bar as a licensed Lawyer and to complete a PhD.
